The Old Town Discovery 119 is a solo Canadian Canoe that's stable, agile and easy to handle. Although the Discovery 119 is normally paddled using a single bladed canoe paddle, a double bladed kayak paddle can also be used. At only 19.5kg this is a lghtweight canoe, although it is heavier than the Old Town Pack ( Solo Canoe made from Royalex) the Superlinear construction offers greater strength and durability at a cheaper price. The superlinear construction shown below features a foam core layer giving the Discovery 119 inherent buoyancy as well as providing extra rigidity.





A contoured seat with adjustable backrest comes as standard with the Discovery 119 canoe.
