Beluga Inflatable Kayak Paddle Float
Paddle Float For self rescue
Once you have emptied your kayak using a bilge pump you will need to regain entry. One of the easiest methods (but remember this still needs practice) is to use a float on the end of your paddle as an outrigger to stabilise the kayak.
An alternative to the solid minicell paddle float, the inflatable version takes a few seconds longer to set up using the two air tubes, however stores in a far more compact space. Just make sure it is accessible!
An inflatable paddle float is more useful in the summer months when the water is warmer and for those with very limited storage on smaller kayaks.
