With its classic prospector shape, the Enigma Canoes Prospector 17 is the largest of the Prospector range. It paddles best when loaded up with kit and is surprisingly nimble for such a large craft. If you are looking for an expedition boat and plan to spend several days exploring longer rivers then the Prospector 17 offers plenty of room without sacrificing handling. The pronounced rocker line and high freeboard mean a dry ride even in moving water and the tough three layer plastic hull will stand up to years of abuse.
The outfitting is classic wood and webbing with two seats, yoke and thwart - though a third seat could easily be added as an extra.
