The Nova Craft Fox 14 is a lightweight 14ft compact solo canoe that is generally acknowledged to be the ideal touring trade off between straight line tracking and manoeuvrability.

Constructed from Nova Craft's brilliant composite laminate material Tuffstuff or Tuffstuff Expedition the Fox is only 19.5kgs which make it easy for car topping and moving around both on and off the water. Tuffstuff is a made of a basalt and Innegra woven fibre. The basalt fibre is made of melted basalt rock, while the Innegra fibre consists mostly of polypropylene. When they are woven together into a fabric cloth and infused with a high impact vinylester resin, the result is a lightweight material that is TuffStuff!
