The Malibu 11.5 from the leading manufacturer Ocean Kayak has a bit more in the way of waterline length than most one person sit-on-top kayaks, allowing it to track more efficiently in a straight line. As with all Ocean Kayaks, the 11.5 has been manufactured from high-density polyethylene to give the best hull performance in terms of durability and strength. The 11.5 is suitable for various heights and weights of paddler due to the recline-able backrest and moulded in footrest area. The seat/footrest combination allows the paddler to reach a suitable seating position and develop a strong paddling style on longer days out. Other features include three drinks bottle holders, and a strong keel line that assists with forward tracking, even when the wind is from the side or rear.
