An aggressive canoe with a hull designed around pushing the limits. Even when loaded down with gear, the Penobscot's provide an efficient ride when paddling longer distances.
The Old Town Penobscot has true touring lines with extra width at midships for additional stability. The perfect family canoe or for those planning more extended canoeing trips. Standard features include dark stained web seats, vinyl gunwales, polyethylene decks with grab handles, carrying yoke and thwart.
The Penobscot is available in 2 sizes. The larger Penobscot 174, this Canadian canoe can be fitted with two extra seats (4 in total), and the smaller Penobscot 164. The Penobscot 164 can accommodate 1 extra seat (3 in total) making it better suited for smaller families.
The Penobscot 164 & 174 is the new name for the Old Town Discovery & Allagash 164 & 174, the design is the same.
