The Palm mid weight float bags can be fitted in the stern or bow of kayaks to displace water and provide additional buoyancy in the event of capsize and the kayak filling with water. These are consider essential for whitewater and surf kayaking but also make it much easier to recover kayaks even of placid water.

Palm mid weight float bags are constructed from a durable PVC which is also very easy to repair.

Available in 3 sizes:

The 20L is the most common and is a good fit for most mid sized whitewater kayaks with built-in central foam buoyancy.

The 15L is often used in the bow of high volume whitewater kayaks or the stern of smaller playboats.

The 60L is ideal for use in kayak with no built in central buoyancy foam. The air bag is designed to fill the entire stern of the kayak.
