The Palm Roanoke Combi Day Tour spraydeck is a great choice for extended expeditions and for the all round touring paddler too. The Roanoke features a neoprene deck made from 4mm reinforced diamond neoprene combined with a breathable body tube.
The 9.5mm Shock Cord round the rim and Sticky Gripsil on the underside of the deck edges ensure a good grip with the kayak cockpit coaming to provide reassuring reliability when rough water paddling or rolling. Should you need to release the deck a firm tug will see it spring back off the cockpit. Supratex reinforcement on the edge of the deck protects from paddle rubbing and wear.
Criss Cross Bungee lines on the deck are a useful addition for when you are following a plotted course and carrying a laminated map or sea chart for reference on a trip.
