The Perception Essence 16 and Essence 17 allow you to take your sea touring experiences to new levels whether you are an expert or an intermediate paddler developing your paddling skills. Both Essence models have an advanced hull design that delivers solid tracking and good manoeuvrability. A strong V-shaped bow and stern gives true directional stability and the defined chines further enhance control for smooth, predictable turns. A shallower profile under the cockpit provides good initial and secondary stability.

Whether you plan to paddle on the sea, inland lochs and lakes or larger slow moving rivers the essence will not let you down. With enough on-board storage for multi-day trips the Perception Essence kayaks paddle very well loaded or empty so if you only have a few hours to spare or want to go away for a week this kayak is a great choice.

The Essence is available in two models:

• Essence 17- Bigger version, more space for bigger paddlers and a higher carrying capacity.
  
• Essence 16 - Smaller version, designed for smaller paddlers to provide a better fit and comfort.
