Rudder Kit to Fit Perception Touring Kayaks

The Perception XCT Rudder kit provides control and additional paddling efficiency in choppy water and breezy conditions. This after market rudder kit is compatible with Perception Touring Kayaks that have a 10mm rudder pin housing at the stern of the kayak.

The overstern rudder is deployed into the water/lifted out of the water via the deck mounted lift line. Controlling the rudder is via tip-toe footrest pedal system 

Always lift the rudder before paddling in shallow water and during the last stretch before landing.
