Designed in collaboration with Liam, a staff member at Cornwall Canoes and known as the Cornish Kayak Angler, the Vibe Hydra 130 is a fully-equipped fishing kayak tailored for anglers wishing to fish inshore waters along the coast. Whether you're planning to target cod and rays with a jig rig or a session trolling behind the breakers for bass, or rising early for a peaceful morning on a quiet estuary, the Hydra 130 has you covered for sea fishing in the UK. It has been loaded with properly useful features that enhance your kayak fishing and also make it easy to customize.

The Hydra 130 is a 13-foot-long kayak with a 29-inch beam and a classic tri-form hull design, striking a perfect balance between paddling speed and stability. This kayak performs well in choppy coastal waters, offering both primary and secondary stability. Its flared bow and aggressive rocker allow it to glide over rough waters and swells, helping you maintain speed as you paddle.

With a low center of gravity and a contoured seating position, along with a comfortable clip-in backrest, the Hydra 130 is designed for quick navigation and endurance on your next saltwater fishing adventure. It is equipped with the Vibe Gravity Rudder, which enhances performance in crosswinds and dynamic tidal conditions, with steering managed through sliding free-flow footrests.

Additionally, the Gravity Rudder is 'Bixpy-Ready,' making it easy to motorize your kayak with a lightweight Bixpy K-1 Motor Kit for those looking to elevate their kayak fishing experience. Adding a motor will transform your fishing experience and a lot of our customers report that they are able to fish further from base while also enjoying having their hands free for casting, baiting up and trolling. If fishing over a reef or wreck the motor can be used to hold position against gentle currents rather than having to anchor.

The Vibe Versa Console is located just in front of the eat within easy reach and features a hinged lid that accesses the tackle storage area. The lid of the console has two smaller flip-lid storage hatches, slide tracks, a cup holder and a magnetic tackle holder - great for holding lures, hooks and tools. The short tracks on the console lid are ideal for mounting a fish finder, also a handy place for a mobile holder too. The large oval bow hatch features easy-open latches and makes a great place to store a fold-up trolley such as the Railblaza C-Tug. The bow also features a paddle park for quickly stowing your paddle when you get a strike whilst trolling, and you'll also find further paddle parks either side of the kayak for paddle storage whilst drift or anchor fishing. 

There is a recessed and protected transducer port with 2 x moulded-in M5 threaded brass inserts which are in the right position to fix the Lowrance and Garmin transom transducer brackets (supplied with the fish finders). This recess fits the Lowrance Bullet Skimmer, Lowrance 83/200 HDI, Lowrance 50/200 HDI, Garmin GT20, Garmin GT24 and similar sized transducers. The gear tracks on the Versa Console are universal and allow you to easily mount a fish finder screen centrally using the various rack mounted fish finder mounts available. There are also 4 x M5 threaded brass inserts at the very front of the footwell for installing rectangular base mounts such as a Railblaza StarPort HD, for further accessory mounting options.
