The Vibe Makana 100 offers you the choice of pedal or paddle drive! Drop the Vibe Versa pod into place and you have weather-tight storage with a magnetic tackle tray and quick-access cargo bungees.  Alternatively slot the the X-Drive system in and you can head off pedalling leaving your hands free to takle up or play a fish as you go.

The Makana is designed for use on fresh or salt water and you will find the hull provides both reassuring stability and great manoeuvrability.  The deck outfitting has an impressive array of features for a kayak of this length. if you intend to do some stand-up fishing then you will appreciate the noise reducing grippy deck pads and the stable hull design.

The X-Drive is a durable and low maintanence pedal drive system and works very well with the Vibe rudder which is controlled by an easy to reach steering handle. The rudder provides effortless turns in tight spots and keeps you on track when pedalling across currents.

At only 25Kg the hull is not difficult to car top and can be easily carried short distances by one person. If you have a longer walk to the water we recommend using the C-Tug trolley which can take a fully loaded Makana with ease.

Slot your favourite accessories into the factory fitted slide tracks, load up your gear into the generously sized rear storage area then drop a couple of rods into the rod holders and you are ready to go. If you are launching in very shallow water just use the paddle to head into deeper water the drop the X-Drive into place and go hands free!
