The Wavesport Diesel is a quick and manoeuvrable river running kayak that doesn't have the bulk of some of its competitors, but it still has volume where it is needed to ensure the Diesel is forgiving enough to tackle more challenging water. A flat planning hull and rails provide maximum agility and allow the Diesel to dart from eddy to eddy. The Diesel's peaked deck and continuous rocker profile means it punches through holes and resurfaces quickly from drops.
The Diesel is one of our most popular river running kayaks and is loved by both seasoned pros and those still learning the skills. In the right hands it's capable of tackling extreme whitewater but it is also easy to paddle & forgiving for those less experienced paddling at a lower grade.
The Diesel comes in Wavesports WhiteOut Outfitting - Featuring the WhiteOut Roto-moulded seat with padded seat liner, padded backrest with ratchet adjustment on the thigh braces, adjustable padded thigh braces, full plate bulkhead footrest & 4 x Security Handles / Rescues. The WhiteOut Outfitting can also be fitted with optional hip pads sold separately.
The Diesel is available in 3 sizes - The Diesel 60, Diesel 70 & Diesel 80. This ensures the best comfort, fit and control for all sizes & shapes of paddlers.
