The Werner Tybee may come in at the lower end of the Werner touring paddle range but a close look reveals it's packed with high end design features present in many of their much more expensive models. It features a high angled blade shape for efficient paddling and is sized perfecting to provide power when needed without being too tiring over longer distances.

The 2 piece split shaft has the Smart View adjustable ferrule giving the feel of a solid paddle with the benefits of easy storage and adjustable feather for both right and left handed paddlers. The shaft is made from a carbon/glass blend for comfort and lightness.

The Tybee can be specified with two different blade constructions: The FG has fibreglass reinforced nylon blades which are durable and moderately stiff. The CF has carbon reinforced nylon blades which are slightly lighter and even stiffer. Both blade designs feature a dihedral for efficient forward paddling strokes.

The Tybee FG and CF are ideal paddles for touring, sea kayaking and kayak fishing. They also make a great spare deck paddle for sea kayakers.
